Earth Science places physics, chemistry and biology on the scale of the planet and the universe — from under our feet to the starry sky.
Yodo Earth Science is the earth science reader under Uedu interdisciplinary general education, spanning senior secondary earth science and university introduction to earth science. Earth science itself is interdisciplinary: it integrates physics (seismic waves, atmospheric dynamics), chemistry (minerals, seawater, atmosphere) and biology (fossils, ecology) at the scale of planets and the universe, thereby filling the final gap in the natural sciences.
The five major topic clusters span the field of Earth sciences: solid Earth (plates, rocks, earthquakes, volcanoes), atmospheric science (fronts, circulation, the water cycle, weather), ocean science (seawater, ocean currents, tides), astronomy and space (Earth's motion, lunar phases, the solar system, stars and the universe), and Earth's environment and change (warming, the carbon cycle, resources and disaster prevention). Each article includes an introductory main section + a more advanced postgraduate section, and is accompanied by a conceptual diagram.
The illustration is an AI-generated conceptual diagram; it is not an accurate geology/astronomy chart; for deeper study, please still refer to the textbook and authoritative teaching materials.
