From the 1920s to the 1940s, an entire generation of Taiwanese writers responded to their times in writing. Rather than treating this gallery as 'one work', it takes 'an era' as its unit, and 'datafies' the New Literature Movement: presenting, through an interactive network, the connections among writers, periodicals and literary societies, and mapping the personality results you obtained in Learning Traits Exploration to an 'island literary archetype'. It turns this literary history into a digital experience that can be explored, discussed and reflected in relation to yourself.

Step into the 3D Dadaocheng streetscape
A TV special-style camera flythrough procedurally reconstructs Dadaocheng in the 1930s: following the timeline of the New Literature Movement scene by scene, it passes the Taiwan Min Bao Office, the Culture Bookstore, lecture halls and modern cafés; the light and shadow shift with the rise of Enlightenment, the movement at its height, the setback of Chinese-language literature and the downturn of war. You can also switch to free view and roam the street houses and Tai Ping Town yourself.

在新式教育與時代衝擊下睜開眼睛的年輕人，懷抱理想、勇於批判，想以文字改造社會。是新文學運動最核心的精神面貌。
仁心的醫者
以悲憫之眼診視時代病灶的人。既醫身、也醫心，把對眾生的關懷化為文字，在冷靜的觀察裡藏著溫熱的同情。
沉默的勞動者
在土地與市街底層默默勞作、任勞任怨的身影。話語不多，卻承載了時代最真實的重量，是許多作品同情與凝視的對象。

A Literary Young Man Exploring National Central University
Let an original fictional 1935 Taiwanese literary youth, 'A-Ming', travel to a modern campus to converse, ask questions and marvel with you — extending the imagination of digital humanities through AI role play. A-Ming is a fictional character and does not refer to any real author.
Talk with A Ming the artsy type
All works collected in this exhibition are in the public domain; the authors are real historical figures, and the introductions merely state objective facts from literary history, focusing on literary value. The full texts of Japanese authors will be compiled gradually using 'original public edition + AI-assisted self-translation + human review'; character portrayals and time-travel dialogues are presented entirely through original characters and do not refer to real individuals.
